 Andrea BrachfeldA highly esteemed flautist, bandleader and composer, Andrea Brachfeld has mastered many musical idioms, including Latin Jazz. Her breakthrough came when she became flautist for the group Charanga ’76. She has received the Chico O’Farrill Lifetime Achievement Award from Latin Jazz USA and the Pionero Award for her contributions to Latin music. Over the years, she has worked with Hilton Ruiz, Ray Barretto, Tito Puente, and many other greats of the music, including Dave Valentin. |  Geraldo ContinoBorn in Havana, Cuba, Gerardo Contino is one of the most sought after performers in New York City today. His singing style has tremendous range, from the upbeat tempo of timba to the classical boleros of Benny Moré. Gerardo does it all. Having once performed as a vocalist with the band of Pedrito Martinez, Gerado knows how to maintain a torrid tempo. His shows frequently peak with the audience spontaneously rising from their seats and taking to the dance floor. |  Luques CurtisA bassist highly in demand on both the Jazz and Latin Jazz front, Luques and his brother, pianist Zaccai, are at the forefront of a new generation. Luques studied at the prestigious Greater Hartford Academy of Performing Arts, and, later, the Berklee College of Music in Boston.  César OrozcoCésar Orozco is a prolific Cuban/Venezuelan pianist, violinist, composer, arranger, producer, and educator. Since arriving in NYC in 2012, he has become a much in-demand pianist in both Jazz and Latin American music. Some of the artists he has worked with include Paquito D'Rivera, Pedrito Martinez, Yosvany Terry, and Giovanni Hidalgo. Orozco has developed an innovative approach to a fusion of Venezuelan and Cuban traditional music, and Jazz, with his group Kamarata Jazz. |  Sammy FigueroaAs one of the music’s leading percussionists, Sammy Figueroa has played on countless records and is well-known for his versatility in a multitude of musical styles. Besides playing with some of the world’s greatest pop stars, such as David Bowie, Chaka Khan and Mariah Carey, Sammy has also played with many legendary jazz artists including Miles Davis, Sonny Rollins, Quincy Jones, George Benson, and others. |  Manuel ValeraBased in NYC, Grammy nominated artist, pianist and composer Manuel Valera was born and raised in Havana. Since arriving in NYC, he has become well known in the local jazz scene, garnering national reviews and lending his talents as a pianist and composer to such notable artists as Arturo Sandoval, Brian Lynch, Dafnis Prieto, Jeff “Tain” Watts, and Yosvany Terry, among others. Manuel had travelled the world performing in over 30 countries at some of the biggest international venues and festival. |
 Bobby SanabriaBorn and raised in the South Bronx, Bobby Sanabria is a NYC treasure. Drummer, percussionist, arranger, recording artist, producer, filmmaker, and educator, he broke into the business playing with Tito Puente, and has also played with Mario Bauza, Mongo Santamaria, Celia Cruz and many others legends. As a leader, he fronts both small groups and large orchestras, including the Multiverse Big Band, whose latest CD release, 'West Side Story Reimagined', was Grammy-nominated in 2018 for Latin Jazz. |
